And then….there was word count

This admitted panser is struggling to achieve her 5000 daily word count.  I know it appears in the picture that I am an overachiever, but I am trying to accomplish two (2) 75,000 word books in 30 days.  So if I fall off I’m in trouble….that is unless I am struck with genius, which is known to happen.

Here’s what it looks like thus far…

November 1st: 5, 419

November 2nd: 3,014  whaaaaahhhhhtttt?

November 3rd: : .7,084 (totally caught up but was really doing some heavy lifting.

November 4th: 5,621 on the move

November 5th: 5,243

Total: 26, 623 words

I’m back on schedule and I am sure that once the story becomes more cohesive, these guys will start writing themselves.  Right now Mama is doing some heavy pulling to get the train going! 🙂

Are any of you doing NaNo?  What has been your experience for these first five days?  I would love to hear from you!  Don’t struggle in silence.  Share 🙂

    • That’s awesome! I have to check out your work. I love supporting other writers, published and not published. I’m in the middle and NaNoWriMo is a great way to concentrate time and energy into a project! Thanks so much for the well wishes! We need it!! lol

      • Thanks so much. That’s a good quality to have. I try my best to help whenever and wherever I can; just that I’m slowed down by a debilitating illness of the body. But my heart sends all the inspiration for your journey 🙂
